It's a toilet, decoupaged using the 1991 X-Men #1 (all covers!)

I've been saving a bunch of choice golden age comics for something like this but don't think I'll use a commode as my base medium... was thinking more like table tops, wooden chairs, maybe a countertop.

Reading the fellows explanation of why he did it and his mission statement was the best part.
